I have a back problem and don't know who I should see about it. Should I see a physiotherapist? Will it help?
Yes. Chartered physiotherapists have medical backgrounds and are highly qualified to treat neck and back problems. They are safe, and very competent in carrying out effective treatments as appropriate. The largest percentage of this clinic's caseload is comprised of neck and back problems.

Do you bill medical insurance companies directly?
No. Receipts will be provided for patients to claim back as appropriate. It is advisable to check your level of cover before coming for treatment.

Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes. Patients who need to cancel or change an appointment are kindly requested to give 24 hours notice, or full payment for the physiotherapy session will be charged.

What should I expect and bring with me for the first appointment?
Your first appointment will last one hour and will include a thorough assessment and treatment. A full examination of the problem wll be carried out. For lower back or leg conditions you may prefer to bring some shorts with you. It is kindly requested that you arrive a few minutes prior to your appointment time.

How long do the appointments last?
The initial appointment lasts 1 hour. Follow up appointments are 1/2 hour.

How quickly will I be seen?
The same day if possible, otherwise the following day.

Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. Many medical insurance companies do however request that you have one. It is advisable to check this with them prior to booking your first appointment.

Follow-up 1/2 hour treatments: £64
Follow-up 1 hour treatments: £128
Home visit (45 mins to 1 hour): £145
